Offshore Windfarm on the West Coast

On March 21, a deal was announced between Enmax Corp and NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. Enmax will invest $2 million into the junior company to build an offshore wind farm. The wind farm is to be located near the Queen Charlotte Islands, which is located off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. The project is located in the Hecate Strait and is to result in 320 megawatts being produced for the wind project.
Enmax Corp will receive shares in NaiKun Wind Energy Group, and also a 50% stake in the subsidiary, NaiKum Generation Co. Inc.
